A rally to commemorate the Palestinian Al Nakba (catastrophe) was held in Times Square, New York City on Sunday, May 17. Al Nakba is the anniversary of the creation of the "state of Israel" in 1948. The rally was sponsored by Al-Awba.
Anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews joined the rally to demonstrate their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their opposition to the Zionist state of "Israel" and it's actions. The protest involved a 30-block march to Union Square.
