Letter to our congressional leaders.
Dear Senator / Congressman
With the warmest of greetings
We hope that this letter finds you in the best of health.
We of the Jewish Torah true communities throughout the Unites States of America humbly ask of you to take a moments of you precious time, to contemplate the message of our constituents, in regard to the present Iran Nuclear Deal.
Although, according to the principles of the Torah, Jews are not to meddle into political relations between nations, but peace initiatives and peace pacts are to be celebrated and prayed for. It falls under the Biblical commandment, "Seek the peace of the city to which I have exiled you" (Jeremiah 29:7). Therefore Jews around the world pray for the success of this splendid development, which paves the way for peace between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
May the Almighty grant success to all who seek justice and peace.
Jewish people true to the Torah continuously voice their opposition to the Zionist State of Israel and to the continuous evils that emanate from it. The existence of a Jewish State is clearly forbidden according to the Torah. Therefore we don't recognize this State as a Jewish rather it is a Zionist State. Furthermore, its representatives cannot speak in the name of the Jewish people.
Presently at this historic moment we must express the Jewish concern and opposition to the pro-Israeli stance in regard to the Iran Nuclear Deal. It is extremely upsetting to hear and witness the vociferous negative comments and actions by the Israeli leaders and representatives in regard to this issue. We stress that their negative approach and position does not reflect the view and stance of both, American and world Jewry.
Also, we must express the Jewish concern, that sadly and ironically, contrary to what the pro-Israelis claim to be seeking to achieve, the current Zionist strong arm opposition to the Iran Deal, will most certainly exacerbate anti-Semitism here and abroad. May the Almighty protect us.
May the Almighty bless this momentous peace initiative with success, and may this be a catalyst for peace and harmony for all humankind throughout the world.
Ultimately let us hope and pray for the day that we all yearn for, when the Almighty will elevate the world spiritually, when all humanity will recognize the kingdom of the Almighty, and all humanity will join hands to serve Him in harmony. Let us pray to the Almighty that He bring this about soon in our days. Amen.
